I won’t release updates for any applications during the next few weeks due to upcoming exams, development will resume after they’re done.

And btw, thank you everyone who has sent bugreports and sugestions for new features and improvements!

SteamCompanion update 7

Changelog:
-Profiles and games now contain a link to their steam community pages.
-VAC Status can now be viewed in profiles.
-Fixed a cosmetic bug in the 4×1 widget.
-Fixed 4 force crash bugs.

A larger widget and offline stored list of friends and games will hopefully be implemented in the next update.

It seems I missed some bugs in the update earlier today.

-Fixed a bug that caused not all data to be loaded.
-More info is now shown in user profiles.

-Fixed a bug that caused some valid id’s to show an error.
-It now switches to the settings tab on startup if you haven’t entered a id.
-It no longer automaticly switches to newly refreshed tabs.

My Eye

I snapped a random picture of my eye not long ago, and after running it through photoshop I really liked the results wich is now the background on my Nexus One:)

I recently checked the Android Marketplace for a Steam friends list application. There was only one available, so I downloaded and installed it. At first sight it looked nice, almost just like the list in the windows client, but when I tried scrolling down the list it staggered like crazy, it annoyed me to the point where I’d gone insane if I were to use it any more o.o..

Therefore I decided to create my own application, “SteamCompanion”, where I can view all my friends and their profiles on steam, as well as a list of my games and how long I’ve played them.

It’s just been published on the Android Marketplace.
