WiFi Sms

by iMP on Apr.17, 2010, under Symbian 60v5

A small application for Symbian s60 5th edition that shows incoming messages on your pc via WiFi.

Run the server on your pc and hide it if you want (it hides in tray). Whenever you receive an sms after that, the client application on the phone connects to the server and the message is displayed on the pc where you quickly can reply. After a reply has been sent or it’s timed out, the client disconnects from the wifi to save energy.

It’s unsigned though, so you’ll have to sign it yourself.

Location Notes

by iMP on Apr.17, 2010, under Symbian 60v5

I’ve been asked many times to remind someone about something when we get home or somewhere else, and it’s easy to forget such things.

Write notes that are displayed exactly you need them. You can store places by cell id, and notes that are bound to those places. The next time you enter a place you’ve saved notes for, the phone will alert you, those notes will be displayed, and you’ll get the option to delete the note.
To use a custom sound as the alert, place it in E:\ and name it “NoteAlarm.mp3″ or .wav.

It’s unsigned, so it’ll need to be signed before install.

Current version is a beta release.

BySykkel s60v5 Edition

by iMP on Apr.17, 2010, under Symbian 60v5

An improved version compared to the J2ME one, it retrieves the current gps location, finds the 3 closest BySykkel racks, and how many cycles there’s left. This version can’t open a map over the area yet, but it constantly shows how far away the racks are. Still only usefull in Oslo, Norway;)

For Symbian s60 5th edition, it’s unsigned so you’ll need to sign it.

SoundCell

by iMP on Apr.17, 2010, under Symbian 60v5

All the app does is to work in the background after you’ve hidden it, periodically checking the current cell id. Whenever you enter a new cell id, the program checks for any saved profiles for that cell, and plays any sounds defined for it.

It is rather useless, but it’s fun having the GLaDOS AI welcome you home everyday:P

It’s unsigned, need to be signed before install.
