I recently checked the Android Marketplace for a Steam friends list application. There was only one available, so I downloaded and installed it. At first sight it looked nice, almost just like the list in the windows client, but when I tried scrolling down the list it staggered like crazy, it annoyed me to the point where I’d gone insane if I were to use it any more o.o..

Therefore I decided to create my own application, “SteamCompanion”, where I can view all my friends and their profiles on steam, as well as a list of my games and how long I’ve played them.

It’s just been published on the Android Marketplace.

Soon the first subsite will be born; “LOLBuilds”. A site where anyone can submit, rate, view and discuss champion- or team-builds for the game League of Legends. Also a Android mobile client will be released, where you can download, rate and view builds offline.

If you’re a BySykkel user, then this app might come in handy:) It retrieves the current gps location, finds the 3 closest BySykkel racks, and how many cycles there’s left. It can also open a map over the area around a found rack. It only works for the BySykkel racks in Oslo, Norway.

It’s a j2me app designed for Nokia5800, but should work on any device with a gps and J2ME.
